Jolla smartphones to be launched in India by Snapdeal.

Recently, it was officially announced that Snapdeal will launch Jolla In India.

Jolla, you might had not heard of this company before as this company didn’t got famous . Jolla is a Finnish(Finland) company which was started by many ex-employees of Nokia. Now, this company is going to hit the Indian market with one of the online store of India i.e. snapdeal. Jolla is going to enter the Indian smartphones market with a phone with awesome specifications but it is overpriced.
Jolla smartphones to be launched in India by Snapdeal
Lets have a look on the specifications of Jolla’s Mobile phone:
  • 1GB RAM
  • 16GB internal storage
  • 1.4GHz dual-core processor
  • 8MP rear and 2MP front camera
  • 4.5inches qHD display with gorilla glass 2
The phone with above specifications have an estimate price of Rs.28,500 which make it hard for this phone to survive in Indian market. As there are many budget smartphones with low price and much better specifications. If, we talk about the competition for this phone there are many phone but if we only see it only we see Flipkart coming with Moto E, Moto X, Moto X and the latest launch from flipkart XIaomi Mi3. This is the list of some phones which cost less than this phone and is worth to buy. In this price segment one can go for Samsung Galaxy S4 or Google Nexus 5, both of these phones are far better than this and are one of the trusted brand in India. Moreover there are no service center of Jolla established in India which makes it more harder to be bought by you people.
Conclusion: I don’t think that this phone will have a good time in India or will be sold here, you can grab a Moto g for almost same specifications at just Rs.12,499. If Jolla want to sale this phone it should drop the price down to like 10,000 to 12,000.
